You can still take it. Your baby stays that age until the next month starts. A photo a few days or a week late still fits. Use the same sticker, the same spot, and the same window light.

Can you take the month photo late?

Yes. A baby is 3 months old until they turn 4 months. The 3 months sticker still works a week later. Put it on the next calm morning, take the photo, and peel it off. The next month's sticker goes on as usual, on its own day.

Which age goes on the photo?

Pick one rule and keep it all year. Label each photo with the month it stands for, or with your baby's real age on the day. Either works. Don't put one month's label on a photo from another month.

Born early? The AAP says corrected age is a better guide to milestones for the first two years. You can write both ages in the caption. For short lines, see monthly baby photo captions.

Can you put two months in one photo?

Babies explore by putting things in their mouths, the AAP says. Peel both stickers off after the photo, and keep the sheet out of reach.

How do you make a late photo match the others?

Can you photograph a sleeping baby to catch up?

The AAP says to place your baby on their back for every nap and at night. Use a firm, flat surface. The crib gets a fitted sheet and nothing else. If your baby falls asleep during the photo, move them to their crib, on their back.
